Ok, I did I bit of updating on this… something about Quorra’s face bothered me, so I changed the lips, and reshaded parts of the jaw and cheek bones. Better. I also fixed the lights on her suit.

And I have to say (on a completely, non-art-related side note), now that I’ve seen the movie three times, I’m glad that they didn’t make them an official pair. I think it leaves their relationship more free, fun, and mysterious
I think if they had kissed, it just would have rushed things too much, and made it stupid and cheesy. They only knew each other, what… 10 hours? Anyways, I think this was better… and just cross your fingers for in the next film!

Oh, and P.S. thank you guys for all the comments and favs! It means a lot!

Ok, this was almost the greatest couple ever. I just wish they would have made it completely official, although in the final scene, it seemed quite obvious they would end up together. Dang it Sam, why didn’t you just kiss her? haha
So basically this picture sums up their relationship pretty well. Is he going to kiss Quorra? Or is he? yes
(By the way, the title will make sense if you've seen the movie)

Anywho, my first art of 2011 is TRON: Legacy fan art! Awesome movie! I saw it twice, and it was even better the second time! There’s just so much to see because the visuals are so amazing! And the Draft Punk soundtrack made it 10x more awesome. True fact.
Go see it if you haven’t… and make sure it’s 3D!

This was really fun, and also a complete pain to draw. I redrew Sam’s face (Garrett Hedlund) like 5 times or more. I just could not get the colors and shading right. Quorra’s (Olivia Wilde) wasn’t so bad, but I did end up having to do some last minute color tweeking. The glowing suits were the most fun. I love the way it makes the lighting.
Overall this took way too long, but I enjoyed it!
